Effective tips for flushing toxins from the body
Over time, your digestive tract can become clogged with waste, and toxins can pollute your bloodstream. These issues may lower your metabolism, weaken your immune system, and leave you feeling fatigued.
Luckily, I know of several natural methods for help teach you how to flush toxins out of your body. I have personally used these solutions to help rejuvenate my body and I have never felt better. Try these natural remedies for yourself.
Drink a Cold Glass of Water with Lemon Each Morning
Before I have breakfast or my morning cup of coffee, I like to drink a glass of cold water. This provides several advantages that can help flush toxins.
The cold water forces the body to bring the water to the natural body temperature. This boosts the metabolism, creating the right conditions for flushing toxins from the body.
Adding freshly squeezed lemon to this water will also help with the flushing of toxins. The vitamin C and antioxidants found in lemons can aid in cleansing the bloodstream. This also helps boost your natural ability to fight inflammation.
Consume More Probiotics to Balance Gut Bacteria
Not all bacteria are bad. The human stomach contains a mixture of good and bad bacteria. When the bad outweighs the good, people may experience digestive issues and an increase in toxins.
To combat this problem, I recommend consuming more probiotics. Consuming fermented foods such as yogurt or kefir can help restore the proper balance of gut bacteria. This increases the body’s natural ability to flush toxins.
Apple Cider Vinegar May Cleanse the Bloodstream
Apple cider vinegar can act as an antibiotic and helps kill bad bacteria. The vinegar also aids in flushing the toxins in the body by inhibiting the development of harmful bacteria.
Several studies have also found that apple cider vinegar may lower blood pressure. Lowering the blood pressure helps reduce the risk of blockage and improves blood circulation. These benefits are useful when attempting to flush toxins.
If you are like me and do not like the taste of apple cider vinegar, it is also available in pill form. Taking one pill before each meal may offer the boost needed to begin cleansing the body.
Drink Green Tea or Herbal Tea to Flush Toxins
I also try to drink green tea or herbal tea several times per day. The antioxidants found in these teas offer the same benefits as drinking lemon juice. They help remove harmful toxins from the bloodstream.
The same compounds found in green tea and herbal teas that provide the body with antioxidants also protect cells from damage.
Consuming these drinks several times per day may kill harmful free radicals that are known to increase the risk of cancer, digestive issues, and various diseases.
Removal Harmful Foods and Drinks
Besides adding specific foods and drinks to my diet to flush toxins from my body, I also started eliminating some of the harmful foods and drinks that I have consumed for years. These foods and drinks were likely responsible for adding toxins to my body in the first place.
Try to cut back or eliminate heavily processed foods and foods that contain a lot of preservatives. Processed foods include crackers, chips, candy, and just about anything that is not fresh produce or meat.
Processed foods tend to contain ingredients that are difficult for the body to process, increasing the buildup of waste and toxins. Preservatives are also harmful and commonly found in canned food and deli meats.
